Season:

Saturday mornings

first Saturday in September after Labour Day to early April

•9:30 a.m. until noon

Thinking of joining YBC? It's easy as can be!

•It’s OK to join anytime throughout the year.

•It's never too late to sign up for the fun of bowling in an organized youth league.

Teams:

Is it team or individual competition?

•Both - bowlers are placed on teams, and compete against other teams and there is also individual competition with the other players in your league

•All bowlers are given a handicap based on their ability, which ensures that everyone is on a level playing field. Everyone plays and contributes equally and the handicap system ensures that everyone is an important member of their team.....in bowling NO ONE WARMS THE BENCH

Divisions:

YBC (Youth Bowling Canada) is a kids league.

There are 4 Divisions (based on ages as of December 31)

Bowlasurus – 3 to 6,

Bantams – 7 to 10,

Juniors – 11 to 13

Seniors - 14 to 18

•Bowling is a LIFE SKILL and becomes a recreation and sport that you can enjoy well beyond your youth. Many people in their eighties and nineties continue to enjoy bowling as a means of maintaining a healthy and social lifestyle.

Registration:

Registration Fee: $25.00

•Includes a Merivale YBC bowling shirt

•YBC League membership

•Achievement badges / year-end awards

–Weekly Cost:

•Bantam, Junior & Senior (3 games) $ 10/ week

•Peewee (2 games) $ 8/ week

•

–Family Discount:

•1st child regular fee

•2nd child regular fee

•3rd child or more in the program $2/week each
